Once you are outside, you’ll notice a few people gathered in front of the bar, so head over and talk to them. No one wants to talk to you, so head outside. Barret will pay you, according to your performance on the last job. Tifa will return, followed shortly by Barret and the rest of Avalanche.
If you reach the top of the darts leaderboard (on the wall beside the dartboard), you will receive a Luck Up materia near the end of Chapter 4, but you can try again later as well. She’ll ask you if you want to head back out, so take this time to explore a bit more and do some optional tasks, or say “no” and head inside.Īfter the cutscene where you choose to drink or not, you can look around the bar or play darts, so when you’ve seen enough, return to your seat and select “Wait at the counter for Tifa” to continue. Johnny will mention Jessie, then Tifa will tell you to distract the guards.Īfter Johnny has been dealt with, follow Tifa back to Seventh Heaven. Once the Shinra goons are out of sight, head through the gate with Tifa and keep tailing them. Tifa wants to rescue him before he has a chance to spill the beans on Avalanche, so follow her and stand to her left to hide behind the sign. Head over and you’ll see some Shinra soldiers roughing up Johnny, a local. As you approach, you’ll notice a commotion and Tifa wants to check it out. The weapon vendor won’t deal with you now, so head up to the second floor and circle around to meet back up with Tifa. After that’s done, follow Tifa to the Weapon Shop and get the last 200 gil.
Once you are done there, head back up to see Marle and pick up the next 200 gil. This vendor sells some basic items, materia you already have or will obtain very soon, and music disc #1 "The Prelude". Follow her outside once she’s finished, then into a nearby shop to collect your first 200 gil. Head up and open the door and Tifa will tell you about the filter job. You can obtain music disc #27 "Hip Hop de Chocobo" for your music collection from a man in the northeast area of the map. Chests: Ether, Adrenaline, Hi-Potion, GrenadeĪt this point, you can explore the area and collect several different items, including an Ether from the second floor of Beginner’s Hall, 2 Adrenalines in the hidden cat area at the center of town, 2 Hi-Potions on the right side of Seventh Heaven, and 3 Grenades in an abandoned lot behind Seventh Heaven.
